The IV International Performing Arts Competition "Derzhavin ART" concluded at Derzhavin University. This large-scale creative event took place from March 14 to 29 and brought together talented artists from across the country. This season, participants included creative groups and soloists from the Lipetsk, Voronezh, Ryazan, Saratov, and Tambov regions.
In total, the organizing committee received over 1,000 applications for the competition. The creative performances were evaluated in three categories: "Instrumental Art," "Vocal Art," and "Choreographic Art." A professional jury presided over each category: Marina Polteva, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, professor, and vocal coach of the popular television shows "Toch-v-Toch," "Odin v Odin," and others; Maria Heinz, PhD in Art History, Senior Lecturer in the Special Piano Department at the S.V. FAMILY team, and choreographer for the BIG LOVE SHOW, EUROPA+, MTV AWARDS, the MUZ TV Prize, and the "DANCES ON TNT" project; and others.
Following the competitive auditions, the Grand Prix winners in each category were determined. Alexander Tifonin won the Instrumental Arts category. Anastasia Makhotina won the Vocal Arts category. The top award in the Choreographic Arts category went to the AvisM dance studio. The Derzhavin University Special Prize—a certificate for 100 points for the creative test upon admission to the university's specialized programs—was awarded to Miroslava Karev, Polina Volokitina, Anna Krasilnikova, Anastasia Kolesnikova, Sofia Shinkina, Darina Yatsyuk, Daria Shcherbatykh, and Polina Yakovenko.
