Alexander Gusev, Vice Rector for Research at Derzhavin University, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and Pavel Sysoev, Head of the Tambov Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Education held a business meeting at TSU with Professor Viktor Basyuk, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences.
The Tambov Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Education is implementing a unique research project aimed at developing a methodology and methodological system for training future teachers based on artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The Department of Linguistics and Lingvodidactics of the Institute of Pedagogy at TSU named after G.R. Derzhavin, which implements the main professional educational programs in the fields of "Pedagogical Education" (major: "English Language") and "Linguistics" (major: "Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures").
Pavel Sysoev presented the results of a research project involving the development of feedback mechanisms from generative AI, a matrix of AI-based technological solutions used in the teaching of language and methodological disciplines, and a model of an AI-based methodological system for training teachers.
-In today's technological developments, we view artificial intelligence as a new, unique tool capable of elevating the educational process of training future university specialists to a higher level in terms of solving cognitive problems, - says Pavel Sysoev, head of the TSU Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Education. - Generative AI creates a new educational environment, fostering personalized learning. The integration of AI into the educational process will expand students' professional practice and, thus, better prepare them for the realities of the modern world.
During the discussion, Viktor Stefanovich supported the Tambov scientists' project and provided recommendations for promoting and scaling up the results at RAO events and using the Academy's scientific infrastructure.
