Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin was represented by Vice-Rector for International Activities Elena Zueva.
– The strategy session organized the work of 10 groups on current issues of international cooperation, – comments Elena Zueva. – For two days, I worked in a group summarizing the practice of recruiting organizations in the recruitment of foreign students. The group included representatives of Pirogov University, RUDN, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Rosbiotech and other universities with such experience. Currently, according to various estimates, from 20 to 80% of foreign students are attracted to Russian universities through recruiting agencies. There are currently about one thousand such organizations in the country. This area requires the development of high-quality tools to ensure transparency, improve the quality of services and maintain the high reputation of Russian education. We proposed a number of specific and consistent measures to streamline the activities of recruiters. Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin has extensive experience in this area and presented its position to the professional community.
