Volunteers of Derzhavin University - at a meeting with Vladimir Putin

On January 17, Vladimir Putin visited his election headquarters in Gostiny Dvor. Together with the co-chairs of the headquarters - artistic director of the Tabakov Theater Vladimir Mashkov, speaker of the People's Republic of Donetsk parliament, father of the Hero of Russia Vladimir Zhoga Artem Zhoga and chief physician of the 52nd Moscow hospital, Hero of Labor Maryana Lysenko - the President was met by volunteers. Students of Derzhavin University Victoria Razinkina and Mikhail Afonin were among the volunteers. The meeting provided students with the unique opportunity to address the President and talk about their volunteer activities. Mikhail Afonin had a meaningful dialogue with Putin. Mikhail spoke about the work of the headquarters, the progress of collecting signatures, shared his opinion on the state of the volunteer movement in Russia, and also thanked the President for the development of volunteerism in the country and attention to youth. At Mikhail’s suggestion, the President left his signature on sweatshirts that will be sent to regional headquarters. After the meeting, the co-chairs and volunteers of the headquarters shared with federal media journalists their impressions of communicating with Vladimir Putin.
