A solemn ceremony of awarding winners and prize-winners in sports tourism was held at Derzhavin University. At the end of the 2023 season, the teams of athletes received awards for their achievements. Sports qualification books and rank badges, diplomas and commendations, medals and cups were presented to the athletes by Deputy Minister of Sports of the Tambov Region Alexey Koryavin, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Work of Derzhavin University Elena Kayat, President of the Sports Tourism Federation of the Tambov Region Alexey Emelyanov, Analyst of the Directorate for Supporting the Activities of the Head Tambov Region Secretariat of the Government of the Tambov Region Mikhail Belousov. The group of juniors, led by Olga Belousova, head of the Derzhavin tourist club, won 3rd place at the 2023 World Championships. The winner of the national championship in the last sports season was the national team of athletes led by Mikhail Belousov. Derzhavin group of athletes, led by Alexey Emelyanov, took 1st place at the All-Russian competition among students in sports tourism “Student League of Sports Tourism”. The junior team, which took 6th place at the Russian Championship this year, received classification books and badges for 3rd category athletes. The group led by Alexey Emelyanov was awarded the 1st adult category in sports tourism.
